How Our Classes Are Conducted
Our classes are conducted in accordance with North Carolina and South Carolina Law and Regulations. Before you enroll in on of our courses, please know the following:
Online and Classroom Training
North Carolina Guard Training courses are delivered live and require active, interactive participation through in-person engagement on a laptop or desktop computer. In contrast, South Carolina Guard Training courses must be conducted live in a classroom setting at our Myrtle Beach office, ensuring a hands-on and immersive learning environment.
Web Cam and Microphone Required
In compliance with North Carolina laws and regulations, participants must maintain full visibility and active engagement throughout the entire duration of the training course. Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in dismissal from the course, necessitating a repeat of the training to meet certification or completion standards.
North Carolina Training
Per 14B NCAC 16 .0707, the North Carolina Unarmed Security Guard Training Program requires a total of 16 hours of instruction, which is delivered over two consecutive days. Full attendance for the entire duration of the training is mandatory to qualify for certification. This program is offered exclusively online in compliance with 14B N.C.A.C. 16 .0707(c).
South Carolina Training
Pursuant to S.C. Code Regs. § 73-420, the South Carolina Primary Basic Training program consists of a total of 4 hours of instruction, while the Primary Plus program also encompasses 4 hours of instruction. These training sessions are conducted over the course of two days. In compliance with SLED regulations, these courses are strictly required to be completed in person and cannot be delivered in an online format.
